Writer's Block: Gobble Gobble
Vegetarian. In fact, this year, we are not doing anything thanksgiving-ish at all. Usually we go to a pot luck with friends, who are all vegetarian also. This year we were not planning to go and were not planning any particular meal except that a friend wants to visit with us today so I am making a curried parsnip soup and beet salad from the Greens cookbook for her. We will have apple pie though. Not because I made it with thanksgiving in mind, I made it because my husband wanted it for his birthday, which was earlier this week.
